    Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that: 1) One of the company's Mini Blast Furnaces (MBF-1) located at their Koppal plant in Karnataka had been shut down since September 2016 for upgrades. 2) The upgrades of MBF-1 have now been completed and commercial production has resumed from January 17, 2017. 3) The company requested the exchange to take note of the resumption of operations at MBF-1 following the completion of upgrades.
