WHY IS REGISTRATION

IMPORTANT?

In Australia the family will always be asked to confirm the donation decisions of
the deceased before organ and tissue donation for transplantation can proceed.
Australians are encouraged to join the Australian Organ Donor Register (AODR)
to help end the wait for those in need of a life-saving transplant.
