Risk Assessment

Location 1 Cemetery
Risk A Weather:
- Rain and Wind they might ruin make up, hair and costume;
- Cold shaky hands may ruin shots;
- Lighting In autumn and winter, it gets darker earlier;
PREVENTION: bring umbrella to hold over equipment; bring
winter wear such as gloves; change exposure on camera to
fit dark lighting
Risk B A funeral is happening on shoot day
- This may be disrespectful to the family and friends of the dead
person
- They will not be likely to give permission to have the
funeral/their presence featured in our music video
PREVENTION: choose cemetery that is no longer in use
Risk C People may trip over small gravestones
- Crew/actors may hurt themselves and damage equipment
- Litter may ruin shots aesthetically and crew/actors may trip
over it
PREVENTION: mind your step; pick up litter that would be in
shots;
Risk D - Lighter
- Actors could hurt someone or damage random objects with
flame accidentally.
PREVENTION: take caution when filming this scene, that the
actor hold the lighter firmly and keep the flame at a good
distance from their own and other peoples faces
Location 2 Garden
Risk A Weather

Risk B Bonfire
Trying to record burning objects means that the camera will get
close to the bonfire. This means:

Equipment could be damaged if not held properly


Hands can get burnt if too close to the fire

PREVENTION: make sure camera is held at a distance; bring


gloves
Location 3 House
Risk A Lighting may be too dark because of cloudy autumn/winter
lighting
PREVENTION: Film in bright conditions, early in the day
Risk B Noise
- The noise of other people in the house, although wont directly
effect the music video as sound is already created, noise and
other disruptive sounds may distract/irritate crew and actor
PREVENTION: make sure everyone else in the house have
vacated the location before filming
