in Wednesdays sectional
matchup with the Royals. Saxony defeated Twin
Rivers 62-32 to advance
to the state quarterfinal contest against state
champion Park Hills. On
Saturday the Lady Crusaders squeaked by the
Rebels 45-39 and move on
to the final four Thursday
at noon in Columbia, Missouri.

This is the third year for the Track and

Field Club. Last year they had their largest
turnout with over 60 kids.
Its a way to introduce the sport to those
kids that might want to run track in the future, Recreation Supervisor Emily Steele
said. Its also a way for the non-traditional
kids that dont participate in soccer or other
sports to come and try it out.
If you are interested in volunteering
they will need volunteers to help assist
the coaches and work track meets. All of
the coaches must go through proper background checks. Call 547-7275 if you are
interested in helping with this years track
club.

Track & Field Club, please contact Emily

Both St. Vincent basketball teams improved in

the win column this season and as a result a few
players received some
postseason recognition.
On the boys side, senior Trevor Leible earned
first team All-Conference
and junior Tyler Monier
received Honorable Mention. Leible also earned
a spot on the All-District
team.
The boys finished the
season with a record of
11-14.

It included a win over

Viburnum in the first
round of districts, before
ultimately falling to top
seed Ellington.
The 11 wins is up from
seven the previous season.
The girls team had just
one representative on the
All-Conference team.
Jackie
Verseman
