Visual inspection of 3 different storage tanks

NDT inspections of 3 different storage tanks covering:
Floor scan inspection of bottom
UT inspections, using grid line system on bottom plates and indicating where
measurements were taken
UT inspection of bottom annular plates in critical zone and in areas found susceptible by
MFL/SLOFEC measurements
UT inspections on tank shell, using grid line system, indicating where thickness
measurements were taken
UT inspection on tank roof plates, using grid line system and indicating where
measurements were taken
UT inspections on nozzles in tanks shell and tank roof, indicating where measurements
were taken.
Settlement measurements using grid line system valid for settlement measurements and
method to assess limits for
1) Edge settlements
2) Radial bottom settlements
3) Circumferential differential settlements
Calculations of rejection limits of main tank components of 3 different storage tanks, covering:
Annular plates of the bottom
Normal bottom plates
Tank shell plates under three load combinations
1) Hydrostatic pressure + vapour pressure
2) Wind + vacuum
3) Axial distribution of loads from roof (including dead weight + super imposed
load) + shell above course plates under consideration
4) Roof plates and roof supporting structure(s)
5) Other main tank components, if required
Calculations of next inspection interval of three different tanks.
