Up to 10 poster authors will be given 3 minutes to provide an overview of their
poster using 2 PowerPoint (or Prezi) slides, followed by 2-3 minutes of questions,
during a scheduled session on Tuesday afternoon. Additional posters (maximum
of 10) can be displayed (with the other 10 posters) throughout the day, with all
poster authors potentially having the opportunity to answer questions about
their poster topic/research during a break on Tuesday.
Please Note: Being selected for a Poster Presentation WILL NOT entitle
you to a free day of registration at the conference or any other Speaker
entitlements.

Poster Presentations:
Education Day (Tuesday 6th June 2017) at the 2017 AVA Annual Conference in
Melbourne will once again host a poster session. Please consider submitting an
abstract for a poster presentation on any topic related to education in veterinary
science, including para-veterinary education.

poster using 2 PowerPoint (or Prezi) slides, followed by 2-3 minutes of questions,
during a scheduled session on Tuesday afternoon. Additional posters (maximum
of 10) can be displayed (with the other 10 posters) throughout the day, with all
poster authors potentially having the opportunity to answer questions about
their poster topic/research during a break on Tuesday.

Guidelines for abstract submission:

160 word abstracts must be submitted as MS Word (.doc or .docx; NOT
PDF) using the template provided (see below) and emailed to
jhyams@csu.edu.au by 27th February 2017.
Abstracts must be in English;
Confirmation of acceptance will be sent Friday 31st March 2017 and will
include information regarding the poster design;
Abstracts not submitted in Word (as a .doc or .docx document) on the
correct form will not be assessed.
