INTRODUCTION

Students perform more successfully if they are rewarded for their efforts.
As in a school community, a code of behaviour or set of policies is needed. NDTCs
code of conduct encourages awareness among students. These codes are known and
understood by all students through their student handbooks.
Good behaviour is most likely appreciated in a school community and therefore
contributes to the welfare of the school environment. However, sanctions are issued to
students who break rules or who disrupt or disobeyed school rules and regulations.
Fortunately, serious offenses of misbehaviour are relatively rare but, when necessary,
strong action is taken. Sanctions are applied where considered necessary.
A school policy is an integral part of a comprehensive approach to build a healthy
relationship among students and school personnel.
Notre Dame of Tacurong College formulated a school policy to make its students and
parents aware of its rules and regulations or code of student conduct. Near the
beginning of each school year, the school provides a copy of a student handbook to all
students.
