The 2017 Winter Grazing Seminar packed
the Cottonwood Inn with cattle ranchers
from all over the state this past Tuesday and
Wednesday. A total of 11 guest speakers
discussed topics ranging from a long-run
view of the cattle market, being profitable
in the beef cattle business, weather,
grazing rights, and why grassland birds are
dependent on ranching. Hosted by the Valley
County Conservation District highlighting
the Winter Grazing Seminar was the
speaker during Tuesday night’s banquet:
