RSA VPN Setup

Once you receive your soft token via e-mail, Right click and save it to your Desktop or My Documents
folder
1.) Click Start > All Programs > RSA SecureID Token >RSA SecureID Token

2.) Enter password sent in the same email.

Youll see the message below after a successful token import.

Hit Ok and you will see RSA SecureID window opens up

3.) Open Cisco VPN client now and leave RSA secure ID window open. Enter your username

4.) Go back to RSA Secure ID window. Click the Right arrow button. A token code is displayed.

5.) Click Copy button to copy the token. Return to Cisco VPN Client and paste the token to the
passcode field and Hit Ok.

6.) This signals the VPN client that you are in New PIN mode. Follow the prompts to create your PIN
(must be 4 to 8 digits) for example 1234.
7.) Back to RSA Secure ID window and wait for the token to change. When the next token is
displayed, click the Re-enter PIN button to display Enter PIN. Enter your 4-8 digits PIN that you
created in step 6. Click Right arrow button

8.) A new passcode is displayed

9.) Click Copy button to copy the passcode. Return to Cisco VPN client and paste the passcode in
the passcode field. Hit Ok. Your connection will be established

Note: Steps 1-6 are only one time configuration steps performed during the initial
RSA VPN setup. After that every time when you connect to the VPN, you will be
following the procedure shown in Step 7, 8 and 9.

Click Start > All Programs > RSA Secure ID Token > RSA Secure ID Token
Enter your PIN (e.g. 1234)
Click rght arrow button. Passcode will be displayed
Click Copy button to copy the passcode
Open Cisco VPN Client.
Paste the passcode in the Passcode field. Hit Ok.
Connection Established
