PROVINCE OF BENGKULU
Next, we will tell you about province of Bengkulu. Bengkulu
also known as Southwest Sumatra is a province of Indonesia. It is
on the southwest coast of the island of Sumatra, and
borders the provinces of West Sumatra, Jambi, South Sumatra
and Lampung. The province also includes Enggano Island. The
capital and largest city is Bengkulu city.bengkulu have area
total 19,919.33 km2 (7,690.90 sq mi), the population
according to the census 2014 1,828,291 of people.
Bengkulu have three of language such as rejang, Bengkulu
and Indonesian. They have some ethnics like Rejang ,
Javanese ,Serawai, Lembak,Pasemah, Minangkabau, Malay, Sundanese, and Batak,

TOURISM SITE
Bengkulu have so many tourism site that surely interesting to visit. There are Bunga
Raflesia Raksasa, Pantai Nala dan Pantai Panjang, Danau Dendam Tak Sudah, Danau
Gadang, Pantai Pasir Putih, Bukit Gedang Seblat, Pantai Jakat, Kaur
Timur,Perkampungan Cina, Sungai Gunung Saelan, Gua Sarang Butung Layanglayang Kedurang, Hutan Wisata Bukit Daun, Air Terjun Kepala Curup, Gunung Emas,
Pantai Muara, Gunung Nanuua, Bukit Kaba, Pantai Linau, Suban Air Panas and the
last is Danau Rejang Lebong.

PANTAI PANJANG
Very long coastline as far as 7 km is the uniqueness of the tourist
attractions in Bengkulu this one. Long Beach
is located in a strategic area of Bengkulu
tourism, an area complete with public
facilities and accommodations are complete.
From downtown, you only need about 15
minutes to be able to at this Long Beach, or
is about 3 km.
Attractions Bengkulu this one has a lot of
facilities, from lodging, restaurants and
cafes, shopping center, playground, to sports facilities. No doubt, Long Beach is one
of the charm of the popular tourist in Bengkulu. For the local community, this beach
is also one of the therapy center with jogging in the morning or afternoon on the
tracks.
Spruce and pine trees that grow along the shoreline is another attraction that
complements the beauty of the panoramic sunset at the beach area. Long Beach

has fine white sand so that when you walk the sand will not contaminate feet.

TRADITIONAL DANCES

pairs at night with musical
accompaniment . In ancient

seeking a mate after the
completion
of the rice harvest

TRADITIONAL HOUSES
In traditional house, they
have only one of traditional
house named Bubungan Lima.
Traditional Houses Bengkulu including the type of houses on stilts. Stage

used to store the cart , crops , agricultural
tools , firewood , and livestock
enclosures .

Bengkulu Malay traditional house is the

TRADITIONAL WEAPONS

To traditional weapons, Bengkulu

have Keris, Badik, Kuduk, Rudus
This Keris have 13 fingers and
straight shape . Usually this dagger
used by indigenous
leaders and warlords . Other
weapons are Rambai ajam and
Dodong knife .

Men : costume man is wearing a coat , gloves , long pants , footwear,

a suit to a little above the knee .
