All services are performed at shop labor rate of $95 / hr. plus material.
___ Commission all boat systems; AC-DC electrical, all mechanical, check fluids,
hydraulics, etc.
___ Plug into shore power, verify operations, charge batteries
___ Commission engines, run up to operating temperature while checking systems
___ Install outdrive (s), paint transom assemblies
___ Tune-up engine, replace distributor cap and rotor, replace spark plugs **
___ Service sea water pump with impeller and gaskets **
___ Service outboard cooling system; replace thermostats *, remove and service
lower unit and water pump**
___ Test DC electrical systems; water / bilge pumps, horn, nav. lights, GPS, etc.
___ Commission domestic water systems; potable water (with anti-bacterial
deodorizer), showers, etc.
___ Commission 110v systems; air conditioning, generator, etc.
___ Inspect exhaust manifolds / risers (inboard and I/O)*

___ Service engine with oil change, fuel and oil filter change, water separator (if not
performed when winterized)*
___ Service outdrive with gear lube change and pressure check, replace anodes,
service prop & shaft, paint drive and transom assembly (if not performed when
winterized)*
___ Sea-trial after launch
*Indicates service recommended by the engines manufacturer to be completed
annually
**Indicates service recommended by the manufacturer to be completed every 2
years.

Our spring and summer months get extremely busy. If your commissioning contract
(or commissioning email) is not submitted by March 31 st, we cannot guarantee your
boat will be ready for launch on Memorial Day.
1. Environmental Responsibility.

It is understood that Fairhaven Marine Service, Inc. is an

environmentally friendly company and enforces pollution prevention procedures. All authorized service
work is subject to hazardous material handling / discharge fee.

2. Further Work.

All terms and conditions of this agreement shall be applicable to any further work done,
or services provided, for the vessel now or in the future. Whether under this agreement, or subsequent
oral, written agreement or otherwise.

3. Attorneys Fees. Owner shall pay shops reasonable attorneys fees and costs incurred in any dispute
or legal proceeding arising from non-payment.

4. Invoicing.

Will be mailed / emailed weekly and are due when rendered. A service charge of 3% per
month will be added to any balance that is 30 days past due and subsequent 30 day periods.
