SOLAR ROADWAYS
The world today is facing a global economic meltdown, prices are increasing and economies are
crashing. On the top of all that life on earth faces serious danger-Global warming. The global
temperatures are increasing, here is where a revolutionary idea and technology comes into play
Solar roadways. They wont just slow down global warming but will lead towards building a
more sustainable, cleaner and safer society. They will also boost up our dying economies and be a
game changer. Providing jobs for hundreds of people and building a smarter city. Efficiency of
traditional solar panels is known to be very low and hence necessitates the use of extensive open
spaces for producing solar-based electric power. In solar roadways concept, open spaces such as
roads, parking lots, bicycle lanes, footpaths are proposed to be utilized by smart, micro processing,
interlocking hexagonal solar units. They meet all impact and traction specifications.
