Seri Kenangan ( old folks home).
The money from the sale will be handed to Encik Fadhli, the supervisor of Rumah
Seri Kenangan.
Prizes in the form of hampers will be given to the class and the pupil who
collected the most number of old newspapers, used bottles and empty cans.
A talk on Save Our Environment will be given by Puan Azreen Abdul Rahman.

Once, there was a boy named Jali who came from a very poor family. His father died
when he was two years old. He sold nasi lemak from door to door to help his mother to
support their living. One day, after selling all of the nasi lemak, he was so starved that he
decided to ask for a meal from a house nearby.
He knocked on the door. After a while, the door was opened by a lovely young
woman. Instead of asking for a meal, he asked for a glass of plain water. She thought that Jali
was hungry, so she brought him a big glass of milk. Jali was thankful and he finished the milk
in less than a minute. Later, Jali asked her, How much do I have to pay you? You dont
have to pay me anything. Mother has taught me to never accept pay for kindness, dear. she
replied. He said, Then, I thank you from my heart.
Years later, the woman became critically ill. She suffered from a strange disease. She
was sent to a hospital in the city as all the village doctors were baffled. After being treated by
the specialist there, finally she won the battle. On the day when she was discharged from the
hospital, she asked for the bill. Then a nurse sent the bill to her room. When she looked at the
bill, a small note beside it caught her by surprise. It was written, Paid in full with a glass of
milk. Tears of joy flooded her eyes.
