Dear Parent/Guardian:
Horry County Schools provides a PDL (IPad) for student use. While it is optional to purchase
insurance in case of damage to the unit, students are responsible for the safety and care of the PDL
that was issued to them. Your child, Allison Barnett, was issued a PDL and the unit was damaged.
No insurance coverage was purchased for his/her unit; therefore, you are responsible for the cost of
repair.
The PDL has been repaired and is ready to be re-issued to your student after the damage fee is paid.
This damage fee is due upon receipt of this notice.
Please submit $100.00 to cover the costs of the repair. The PDL will be returned back to your child
upon payment.
If you have any questions, please contact your childs grade level administration.
