The inspiration for the book series comes


from the real life adventures of two family
petsSpeckles, the speckled nose cocker
spaniel and his best friend Tiger, the kind
and mighty cat.

Aye Aye is a mother of three kids.
She is a human rights activist
and worked in a variety of human
rights organisations. She stopped
her professional work in 2010 to
spend more time with her fast
growing children. This is her first picture book series.

Illustrator: Zina Win Lemmers


Zina is twelve years old. She loves
to participate in school plays and
draw comic strips. Zinas the first
born kid in the family and knew
Specky and Tiger well. These
drawings are her way of bringing
these two wonderful characters to life.
