Rocks and Minerals: If your child would like to bring samples of their collections to
school, we would love to use them for exploration.
Mental Math Practice: Please help your child at home to practice their mental math
skills for addition and subtraction of numbers up to 20. Asking them simple equations
(8+3, 15-4, etc) will help them to develop mental math fluency to help lessen their
reliance on using their fingers.
