All,
See below for the tasking info, SBI requests that the attached project descriptions be vetted and
approved by each Sector by COB Monday 03/24. OBP will then consolidate your comments and
responses and submit them to SBI the following day. This information will be apart of a package being
put together for S-1 on Wednesday.
Regards,

All of the PF225 and VF 300 segments including contingency miles are included in the
descriptions. Where there are contiguous segments, the segments have been combined into one
description. The descriptions are a little conservative in that we extended the start/stop point of
each section slightly (tenths of miles) to provide a little buffer should alignments need to be
tweaked in the field when we go to construction.
The descriptions are listed from west (A-1) to east (O-21). I have attached a separate Excel
spreadsheet that shows which segments are covered by each description to facilitate your review
(please edit the Word file Loren distributed.)
Please do not change the format of the descriptions or their general reference points. For
example, most of the CA, AZ and NM segments are referenced to Border Monuments. We would
like to keep it that way for consistency purposes.
Only PF225 and VF300 segments approved to date should be covered by the descriptions. Please
don't add new segments that have not been approved by the change control board.
Please use the track change mode for any suggested modifications so we can quickly and easily
see them.
If anyone has any questions about this tasking, please have them contact me at (b) (6) 5
(O) or cell phone at(b) (6)
Thanks

Subject: SBInet, PF and VF project descriptions
(b) (6) request you have each of the Sectors review the descriptions to ensure they describe
all the SBInet and fence segments in their Sector. Request each Sector chief to sign off and return
with concurrence or corrections – The Fence segments described in the attachments are the only
fence we will be building CY08. Therefore, we need to make sure the descriptions include all the fence
needed for the segment. For example have we described Project A-1 start and end point for the A-1
project. Any question please contact (b) (6) ASAP - We need this the document returned NLT
