INTRODUCTION
Construction site visit to DMRC site of Greater Noida was conducted.
Under this visit, various modern construction techniques of construction
were seen in form of In-situ construction along with Pre-fab units installed
at the site using latest mechanized construction equipment. Site varies in
the construction terms as it contains housing, control units, warehouses
and power backup or control units. This makes the site itself a best

example to showcase the modern methods of construction as DMRC is

among one of the leading public sectors in India. The construction was in
its full swing as DMRC is always known for their timely deliverance of
projects.
About DMRC
The Delhi Metro has been instrumental in ushering in a new era in the
sphere of mass urban transportation in India. The swanky and modern
Metro system introduced comfortable, air conditioned and eco-friendly
services for the first time in India and completely revolutionized the mass
transportation scenario not only in the National Capital Region but the
entire country.

INSITU CONSTRUCTION
In situ refers to construction which is carried out at the building site
using raw materials. Compare that with prefabricated construction, in
which building components are made in a factory and then transported to
the building site for assembly .
