Great Showing
Your Tex Hill Tiger basketball teams had a great showing against some gritty Harris Hawk teams on
Thursday night. You may view the basketball results here. Please join us Monday, January 30, as
your 8th Grade Tigers host Eisenhower MS and your 7th grade Tigers as they travel to Ike to
face the Generals.
We are currently in need of volunteers for ticket sales for the End of the Season Tournament we
are hosting at Tex Hill. Volunteers are needed Friday, Feb. 3 from 4:30pm-6pm and 6pm-7:15pm &
on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 1pm-2:15pm and 2:15pm-3:30pm. Please click here to sign-up and help

A-Team tournament brackets will come out on Tuesday, January 31. The 7th grade tournament will
be held at Nimitz MS. *Please be advised that there are NO food or drinks allowed in the stands at
Nimitz MS.

Coaches Corner
The Wellness Committee would like to show its support for the Red Dress 5k Fun Run & Walk on
Saturday, Feb. 11. Heart disease affects many, and recently it hit close to home as one of our
Tex Hill family members lost his brother. Please join in honoring all those affected! For more
information please click the link above. *The school with the most registered runners/walkers will
receive $1,000 for their PTA*
For all athletes who will be playing football next year, the 7 on 7 Football League and Lineman Camp
information was distributed to the athletes this week. Coach Rittimann has stated that he would like to
encourage all of our Tex Hill athletes and future Jaguars to participate in 7 on 7 or the Lineman Camp
to better enhance their football skills. Coach Rittimann also stated that he and his coaching staff will
be attending some practices and will attend Saturday games. Practices are held at Johnson HS and
the teams are coached by Varsity Football Players from Johnson HS. Please click here for 7 on 7

On Friday, March 24, Tex Hill MS will be hosting a Wellness Expo along with Bulverde Creek
Elementary and Cibolo Green Elementary. We are in need of 60 athletes to be a part of a Concussion
Baseline Test that would take place at the Expo. This will be on a first come first serve basis on signups. We need 15 athletes for the 5:30 pm spot; 15 athletes for the 6 pm spot; 15 athletes for the 6:30
pm spot; 15 athletes for the 7 pm spot. Please email Coach Lozano if interested. Please click

Please start saving your nickels and dimes for our 3rd Annual Sport-A-Thon which will be held in April.
We are currently looking for corporate sponsorships to display their company logo on the back of our
T-Shirts. If you have a company, or know someone who does, and would like to be one of the

Fellowship of Christian Athletes: Our next FCA evening fellowship will be Monday, Feb. 27, from
7:00 pm-8:15 pm at Johnson HS in Cafeteria. Speaker: Rich Garza, Chaplain to the San Antonio
Spurs. Athletes, please bring $2 to defray the cost of pizza and drinks. Please click here to fill out the FCA

Tiger Track: Track practices begin on Tuesday, February 21. All athletes must have a current
athletic physical on file wit the coaching staff, must have passed all classes on the February 15th grade
check, and completed al the mandatory online paperwork through Rank One required by the district.
Tiger Tennis: Please join us Tuesday, January 31, as your Tiger Tennis Team travels to Blossom
