ABSTRACT
Technical progression at global scale has put more pressure on developing countries to
improve their infrastructure and progress in other important areas like Wi-Fi hotspot areas,
neat and clean roads, flyovers and other urbanizing things for prosperity. Indian Prime
Minister Mr. Modi has vision to make smart cities in India to enhance the living of populace.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to build 100 smart cities in India so the
government has made "comprehensive plan" for the management of urban green spaces.
This urbanization is helpful for common public and for betterment of India. India wont
become smart just by helping common people .They also need to focus on physically
challenged people, In this busy world very less people stand up for supporting them
therefore they have to be self dependent. . In real life we could see many accidents of
physically challenged people while crossing roads. So we thought why we cant avoid it to
certain level. In order to tackle this current problem, we have come up with a small idea
which helps physically challenged people and children, which also makes city smart.
Our project focuses on safety of physically challenged people and children, while crossing
busy roads without anybodys help. So we are making an automated system which moves
physically challenged people across the road by least affecting the traffic. A mechatronic
machine is actuated by the person crossing the road and moves the person across the road by
stopping the traffic by signaling the red light when the traffic density is least, small signals
will be setup adjacent to every bus stop. Just for the betterment of those people we are
implementing this idea .
