The Bukas Palad Message Board is a ministry of the Bukas Palad Music Ministry Foundation, Inc. or
otherwise known as Bukas Palad. The Message Board was launched as an integral part of the Bukas Palad
website on 22 November 2002 through the creative brains of its Webmeister Carlo Santos (username:
nargalzius). It aims to provide church choir enthusiast and music ministers, the means to communicate and
ways of sharing and learning from each other.
The community, deep down has a lot to offer, as you share and communicate, you'll discover lot's of things
and not just experiences. Currently it has 8,136 registered members and about 300 active members.

In line with our up-coming 7th anniversary, the community is planning to stage a choral festival that will
feature choral groups from different parishes. And your choral group is invited to participate in this
momentous occasion.

Below are the details of the said event.(write ung details ng workshop)
Title: SangTinig: A celebration of Unity featuring the choirs of the BP Online Community
Date: November 27, 2009
Time: 7:30 PM
Theme: Unity
Ticket Prices: Php 100.00 (Prime Seats) and Php 50.00 (General Audience)
Objectives: (write the objectives)

To organize an activity that can be participated by all BP Onliners

To showcase the different skills and talents of the different choral groups within the community

To promote Unity and Harmony

To provide the performing groups additional funds for their growth and development (part of the
ticket sales will go to the performing choirs)

To help the BP Online Community create a fund for future projects and activities

Here are the guidelines for the Festival: (palitan ng workshop ang festival)

Participating choirs must submit their pieces to Prof. Renato G. Hebron for evaluation

An e-mail address will be provided

Each choir will be given 15 minutes (including entrance and exit) to perform 3 songs of their
choice. (No Repetition of Repertoire)

The choirs should bring their best costume for the event.

Choirs should also study 3 additional pieces for the Final Performances

Stella Maris by Bukas Palad

Prayer of St. Francis by Ryan Cyabyab

Festival Pieces will be forwarded via e-mail

Participating choirs, including their conductors should attend the general rehersal set by the
Festival Committee.
