Where Did Sin Come From?

January 29 - February 04, 2017

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and

confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

Sin is from the devil.

Father God,

God gave Adam and Eve everything they needed in the

garden. God told them they could eat fruit from every
tree except for one. One day, a serpent came along. He
told Eve to eat from that one tree. He said she would be
like God. Eve forgot what God had said and ate the fruit.
So did Adam. They made a bad choice and now they
were sad when God came to be with them. God still
loved them, but they had to leave the beautiful garden.
Genesis 3

Thank you for Your words we read in the Bible. Thank you
for my parents, teachers, friends, Pastor Ron, and his family.
May they be strengthened with might through Your spirit
in their inner man (Ephesians 3:16). Forgive me when I
make bad choices. Help me to obey my parents so
things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the
earth (Ephesians 6:2-3). I will tell others how great You
are and how much I love you. Thank you that because
of Jesus, I am healed and whole.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

For the wages of sin is death. . .
