Last week, the children spent plenty of time playing with toy insects. They seemed to really
enjoy the different colors, textures, and sizes of the insects. Thus, this week I decided to
incorporate insects into a fine motor art activity involving foam stickers.

Children will strengthen fine motor development as they peal off the foam stickers and
stick them onto construction paper.
Children will improve social skills in social interest as they observe and imitate peers
and offer one another stickers.
Children will strengthen emotional skills in autonomy as they set their own goals for
how they want their art work to turn out.
Materials:
Foam stickers
Construction paper
Zip lock bags
