Focusing on communication has helped improve the teacher's classroom environment. The teacher regularly communicates with students and parents about positive behaviors and areas for growth, creating an open and positive learning environment. While communication is a strength, the teacher could improve at consistently using student data to adjust teaching methods.

What have I learned? What is my greatest strength in this standard and what area is in need of most improvement?
How has focusing on this standard helped me improve as a teacher?
The biggest thing I have learned about this standard is how
important communication is to my classroom environment. I regularly open lines of communication between my students and I, as well as with their parents. I make sure communication is open for both positive behaviors as well as areas of improvement. This open communication creates a positive environment in my classroom. This environment is essential for learning in my classroom. By opening lines of communication, being respect, and showing interest in my students I create an environment and culture for my students that allows them to want to learn. My greatest area for improvement in this standard is would be for letter C. My biggest struggle as a teacher is consistently using data to alter my teaching. While I can use student performance to adjust my teaching, I am continually working on effectly using data to do the same.
