The document provides updates on the activities and lessons in Mrs. Harris' class. In religion, the class read stories about the start of the church and discussed treating others with kindness. In reading, they worked on contractions and compound words, and completed their first hardcover textbook. In math, they practiced addition and subtraction facts using connecting cubes and counters. In science, the class labeled their solar system models and wrote about each planet. They also celebrated the 100th day of school by sharing posters and papers about their first 100 days, reading stories, and building towers with 100 plastic cups.

100th Day of School
We had lots of fun. We have been counting the days of school since the very first day in August. We shared our posters, 100 wants papers and favorite things we have done since the start of school. We read stories and counted items up to 100. Using 100 plastics cups, groups of students created tall towers. Everyone got a bookmark and a pencil.
