I was born and raised in Kimberly, and I

couldnt ever leave my hometown.

Except, when I went to college, I did. I
went to Boise, and got my Bachelor of
Science in Political Science and
Psychology. I continued on to received
a graduate degree in Education.
While I was in college, I worked for the
science center, The Discovery Center of
Idaho, as well as for a law firm that
dealt with real estate issues. Originally, I
had planned to go to law school, but I
realized that I was happier at my job
working with people to educate them
than I was working a job that punished
people.
I knew that I loved to teach people,
young and old. I also love to add a flair
of fun into my work, because learning
should be a good and happy time for
everyone. I want to make this the best
government class youll ever have!

This is me!

Quote Assignment
Every Friday, students will bring in
a quote, instead of a current
event, to discuss. Each student will
present their quote, and why it
matters. It can be a personal or
academic relation, this activity
allows students to connect with
one another through the wise
words of others.

There are many stressful events that we witness

and participate in every day. This classroom will be
a welcoming environment for all students.
There will be a daily deep breathing activity to
help alleviate some of the stress students feel, as
well as allow them to calm their worries and focus
on the issues at hand.
We will not only learn about the structure of
American government, but also why we should
care about the things we learn. Daily discussion on
the matter will take place.
There will not be daily homework, but a
community project will be assigned later.
