    Note: Because the illustrations in the service literature are used for different engine and
    vehicle variants, there may be differences in some of the components. However, the
    essential information in the illustrations is always the same.
    Note: Venting the fuel system on engines equipped with a manual hand pump need only
    be carried out when the entire fuel system has been drained.

    Pump the hand pump 100 times.
    Note: Do not open any nipples.

    Start the engine. Let the engine low idle for about
    5 minutes.
    Note: Do not increase the engine speed, air may be
    pressed into the cylinder head.

    Check that there are no fault codes.
