ADVANTAGE
HIGH PRESSURE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM
*Store in metal bottle. *Air is universally available
*Range pressure from 1000psi to 3000psi *Relatively free from temperature problem
*Cannot be recharge in-flight. *No fire hazard and the danger of explosion are
*Does not allowed continues operation. minimize.
*Contamination can be minimized

Pneumatic

DISADVANTAGE
*Hard to detect small leakage.
*Not suitable for heavy or large working function.
*The system cannot be recharge
MEDIUMin flight, whenPNEUMATIC
PRESSURE in high pressure system.
SYSTEM
*Large volume of air to moved large components.
*Range from 100psi to 150psi.
*Does not include an air bottle.
*Gained source of bleed air from turbine compressor
section.
*Also provide air when starting engine, pressurizing, and
controlling temperature of air in the aircraft cabin.
PNEUMATIC SYSTEM
LOW PRESSURE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM
*Used as primary gyro instrument / backup instrument.
*Used together with an engine driven vacuum pump.

WET VACUUM PUMP DRY VACUUM PUMP

*Uses a steel vane moving in cast iron housing. *Uses a carbon vane and rotors.
*Sealed and lubricated by engine oil. *Used on a modern type aircraft
*metered into the inlet air port. *Does not require any external lubricant.
*Carbon vane are easily broken or damage.
*all air is taken into these pump must be filtered and
when servicing is perform.
