Sri Sammohana Krishna Temple in Mohanur is 18 km away from Namakkal District of Tamil

Nadu. In the Sanctum Sanctorum of Perumal temple there is a shrine for this Sri
Sammohana Krishna,where the diety is made up of panchaloha and very beautiful sight to
see.

This is a rare form of Lord Krishna - with Radha and Krishna combined in a single form.
This is something similar to the Ardhanareeshwara form of Lord Shiva. The Sammohana
Krishna Mantra/Sloka is chanted with this image is beneficial to marital Bliss and to beget
children. This shloka is most effective and is chanted to get a good husband, happiness in
marital life, brings together the separated spouses and helps in maintaining harmony
among couples. The prasadam for this God is milk with sugar!

Meaning: The diety is having the male form on the right side and the female form on the left
side, with Its eight hands holding the Conch, the Chakra, Angkusham, Lotus Flower, the
Bow made of Sugarcane, Arrows of Flowers and the Flute, with Lotus like Eyes, wearing
Dhivya Aaparanaas and White Sandalwood Paste, showing Thribhangi form (the posture of
tilting the neck, waist and knee, in a romantic triple fold, helix like appearance) and
Bewitching Appearance, that Lord Sammohana Krishna,Oh Lord, I worship for fullfilment of
my desires to you.
