Jollibee, as the leading fastfood chain in the Philippines makes its efforts to help preserve our
environment and establish policies that will lessen their carbon emission to bring joy not only in
their customers but also to Mother Earth as well.

Jollibee seldom use plastics to their products. They use recycled paper for their table napkins.
They also use paper cups for their beverages. Jollibee also follows city ordinances regarding
straws and plastic utensils. They are also reducing their use of styro packaging by using plates
and stainless utensils for dine-in customers.

The kitchens are also equipped with high technology appliances that are power efficient.

In JFC stores, kitchens are equipped with powerful evaporative fresh air blowers that
use only water to convert hot dry air into fresh cool air. Through this facility, we are able
to reduce our use of air conditioners and save around 25,000 kilowatt-hours of energy a
year with every unit.

Their restrooms are also equipped with waterless urinals to help save thousand liters of water.

As for the environmental programs, Jollibee Group Foundation works with FPE3 (Foster Peoples
Education, Empowerment, and Enterprise) to help save the environment by planting trees to
mountains like Mt. Banahaw in Quezon and Biak na Bato watersheds. The group also works with
schools for their environmental outreach programs to restore forests.
