Comedies have changed along with the style of humor
Younger millennials are 25% more likely to choose to see a comedy in theaters than
any other genre (Doty).

Millennials: The Hunger Games, The Avengers

Implications
-Based on the research, it seems that Millennials are more likely to see horror and
urban-style movies

-We will further explore Millennial taste in movies in our survey. Based on what we find,
there may be movie genres that can expect to be more popular or successful among
Millennials.
Tattoos and Millennials- The Gap
Tattoos are one of the few evidences of a true generation gap. Just 10% of those over 40
years old admit to a tattoo. -Millennial Marketing
-In older generations, most people only got tattoos if they were soldiers or sailors.
-Now, many people- soldiers or not- have a tattoo.

Millennials are getting more tattoos than previous generations. Its become more common culture,
and Millennials are getting them at a much faster rate; they are getting tattoos at younger ages, some
at under 18 with parent permission.

Tattoos in the Workplace
Tattoos and piercings are just not the
career killers they once were. Many
companies in all industries have no
problem with body art. -CBS News

So, not only are millennials getting


tattoos more than previous generation,
but they are also changing the
standard of the work environment as
many workplaces simply cannot
afford to turn away the large amount
of young people with tattoos, even
