by Edith Nesbit.

of the train. There are many reasons why the event is
the most _______.

CHARACTER- The character that __________________ is

Roberta. There are many reason why i choose Roberta.

MESSAGE- From the novel I learn about kindness,

responsibility and bravery.

THEME- The theme of the story is that Kindness brings

reward.

One day, Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis see a landslide.

Part of the hill falls on the railway line. The children
have to warn the next train or else there will be a
terrible accident. They make flags from the girls'
petticoat. When the train comes, Bobbie runs forward
waving the flags. The train stops just in time.

First of all, this event shows that the children are

______. To save the next train, they come out with a very
creative idea. They tie the girls' red petticoat to sticks
to make flags, which they use to warn the train of
danger ahead.

Apart from that, from this event we can see that

the children, especially Bobbie, are brave. They know
that they have to stop the train before a bad accident
happen. When the train is coming very fast, Bobbie runs
onto the track, waving the flags. It is a courageous act,
which I think not many people would dare to do.

In a nutshell, the saving of the train is the most

interesting part of the story because it shows that the
children, Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis, are clever and
brave. I like this story very much.
