Dear Senior Portfolio Committee,

I am a senior at Buckingham Charter Magnet High School and am planning to attend a four-year
university. As a graduating high school student, I have enriched my academic growth and life skills in the
past four years. Now entering a closer step into pursuing my cafeer, I have reflected and compiled my
work, experiences, and skills into my Senior Portfolio for approval in order to graduate high school and
pursue a career in the medical field.

During my years in high school, I have followed my educational pathway towards science and gained life
skills. From each of the courses, I have grown greater interest and excitement into pursuing my career and
major for science. My leadership skills have greatly strenglhened here at Buckingham by being a part of
Student Leadership, ASB Vice President, and club offrcer for several clubs. ln addition, I have been a part
of a youth program at the Califomia Academy of Sciences called Teen Advocates for Science
Communication, where I have gained many friendships, strengthened my communication, leadership, and
presenting skills but most importantly, it helped me seek my personality and embrace my individuality. As
an important addition to my life, my years at Buckingham have introduced and gained me amazing
friendships and relationships with teachers that have been supportive, loving, and inspiring throughout
this higlt school joumey.

After graduating, I plan to attend a four-year university with a major in Biology and minor in
Communications, and later attend a medical school for a career in the medical field. I have an interest in
Radiology, Cardiology, and Pediatrics, being influenced through my hard working and supportive father
and uncles. After medical school, I plan to apply to as many hospitals as I can for residency, hopefully
working in on the west coast.

I look forward to the next step of my journey after graduating high school with the knowledge, influence,
and support I've gained at Buckingham Charter Magnet High School.
