Chester Webster This Indenture made the seventeenth day of May in the year of our
To Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven between
Hervey Topping Chester Webster and Polly M. Webster his wife of the County of
Oakland in Territory of Michigan of the first part and Hervey Topping of the same place of the second
part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirty
dollars lawful money of the United States to them in hand by the sd party of the second part the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted sold and confirmed and by these presents do grant sell
and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract or
parcel of land known and designated as follows namely it being the East half of the North East quarter
of Section fifteen in Township three North of Range ten East in the District of Detroit and Territory of
Michigan consisting of Eighty acres be the same more or less together with all and singular the
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and
reversions the remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title
interest claim or demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or in equity of in and to
the above bargained premises. To have and to Hold the said premises as above described to the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever and the said Chester Webster and Polly M Webster
his wife do for themselves their heirs executors and Administrators covenant and grant to and with the
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that they the said party of the first part are lawfully
seized in fee of the aforesaid granted premises that they are free from all incumbrances that they have
good right to sell and convey the same to the said party of the second part as aforesaid that they will &
their heirs executors and administrators shall warrant and defend the same to the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns forever against all lawful claims and demands of all persons
whatsoever

In Witness whereof the said Chester Webster and Polly M. Webster his wife have hereunto set their
hands and seals the day and year first above written

Oakland County } ss On the 28th day of June A.D. 1827 Personally appeared before me one of
the Justices of the Peace in and for the aforesaid County Chester Webster and Polly M. Webster wife of
the said Chester and acknowledged they executed the within deed for the purposes therein expressed
Polly wife of said Chester being examined seperate [sic] and apart from the said husband acknowledged
that she executed the same without any fear or compulsion of her said husband or any other person
