Dear Parents/Guardians,

Hello! My name is Maggie Hepper and I will be completing my student teaching

experience in the Resource room for the next six weeks! I am beyond excited to have the chance

to get into the classroom and work with your child, their classmates, and their teacher! I have a

passion for education and helping children reach their fullest potential and I am eager for this

wonderful experience.
I am currently a senior at Northern State University, majoring in Elementary Education

and Special Education. I also have a coaching endorsement for volleyball. Some experience I

have had working with children include coaching volleyball through the YMCA for three years,

working at Vacation Bible School, internships in a 3rd grade classroom and also a K-3 Special

Education classroom, a junior field placement in a 1st grade classroom, as well as 9-12th Special

Education, tutoring over the summer, and babysitting for multiple families.
I am originally from Aberdeen, and have lived here my whole life. Growing up I had

some amazing teachers who influenced me along the way and helped me decide to pursue

teaching as well. I hope to make a difference in my students lives just like those teachers did for

me! I plan on sticking around the Aberdeen area after graduation because I love the community

and the involvement members of the community have in our education system.
Once again, I am so excited to work with your child and have this amazing opportunity. I

look forward to helping in the classroom and having the chance to teach the class as well. It is

going to be a great six weeks!
