Hi, my name is Yogesh and I am a resident of Rewari, Haryana.

My parents
died when I was very young and my elder brother was not able to support me
financially. Hence, I moved in with my uncle and aunt who brought me up since
childhood.
My foster family supported me till 12th standard (2007) after which like many
others I was forced to look for a source of income due to familys financial health. I
took petty jobs as a fitter working on a daily wage basis. The income, when I was
lucky enough to get some, was very less. The stress of shifting jobs on a day to day
basis and being treated without dignity by contractors was an add on disadvantage.
I saw an ad in newspaper in 2015 and a few days later I also came to know
about it from a friend. I approached Praguna, paid up the fee and started the
training. To be honest it was a great experience given that I had never seen such an
infrastructure in my life.
I was offered a job soon by Praguna in Nerolac where I learnt a lot and had a
stable income. I was given opportunities at multiple companies including Coka Cola
and IP. I would have not imagined visiting so many places and getting such an
experience while being a daily wage fitter in a small Haryana Town. I am grateful for
the team for helping me stand on my feet with pride.
