A day in the life of a teacher

The beginning of this

documentary is full of cutaways
of the main location which is the
school, the teacher travelling,
and the teacher at school.
Establishing shots helped the
audience to identify where the
story of the teacher takes place,
such as the teacher who is first
properly shown through a low
angle tracking shot, which is most likely hand held.

With the mise- en scene, The

director has made sure that every
person is wearing something that
would be suitable when youre
inside a school, the teacher is a
wearing lanyard so that everyone
can identify the difference
between the teacher and the
students, a wide shot has been
taken so that the audience can
see where it has been set.

The set ups for the interview

suited the documentary as it
has been set up in a
classroom, but that the person
they want to interview has
been given a tie-clip mic and
the cameraperson would track
the teacher whilst the director
or producer of the
documentary asks the subject
questions that needs to be
asked, this would almost look like a conversation. This has not been edited
together in a way that makes the topic change, but there are cutaways. For
example the teacher shown helping out her students whilst her voiceover is
carried on a sound bridge so that its not obvious that it has been modified so
that it can give an overall narrative.
