INCREASING ISLAMISATION OF BANGLADESH

“AM I MY BROTHER’S KEEPER?”

MOUNTING TRAGIC TALES

OF HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS AND ABUSE OF RELIGOUS MINORITIES

Aronite thinking

The Republic of Bangladesh was born out of the inevitable human

catastrophe that followed Islamisation of East Pakistan attempted
at by the then West Pakistani Military junta under Ayubh Khan-

The Razakars and militias of Jamaat islami were then given 3

months’ time to mop up the opposition and ethnically cleanse the
land of Infidel Hindus whom they blamed for the cultural admixture
that made easterners to resist the Islamisation and adaption of
Urdu and Arabicisation.

The resultant holocaust stunned the world- around 10 million

displaced, and 3 million dead.

Soon after the liberation with Indian Army’s help, the Islamists
waiting on the wings, returned and began the radicalisation of the
Society and with Military dictators in power peeled away the label of
what started out as a ‘Secular’ State and stamped it as an Islamic
State.

The genesis of all the ills of the religious minorities was in that dire
act, that annulled whatever gains of the Liberation struggle and
made it merely an autonomous wing of the Islamic Theocracy in the
sub-continent.

The champions of secularism in India looked the other way and

made no pretension that it should even merit their critical attention.

Their fiery and vehement spirit of upholding of secularism and

humanist values would not lend itself to Islamic theocracy.

This silence and failure, in India would embolden the Bangladeshi

Islamists to make deep inroads into the society, and complete the
Islamisation drive that actually leads to the break up.

Further selective hostility of these secularists in India, against

Hindus and Hindu activism, and demonization of Hindu society
would add fuel to the Infidel hating zealots who would set
Bangladeshi Muslim society with the fire of Hindu-phobia and
xenophobia.

In all this the Secularist tribe in India has its hands soaked in the
blood of Minorities in Bangladesh who were forced to return there
by the promise of a secular State that would be obligated by India’s
backing.

This monumental failure of conscience of these self-proclaimed

conscience keepers and sentinels of human rights, is unparalleled
anywhere in history- and someday be documented and exposed.

One set of values for Hindus and Sikhs in Kashmir who had to flee
and live as destitute, in their own land.

And yet another for Gujarat’s Muslims.

The standard to measure human suffering, would not be the same -

As we will see how when it comes to minorities and their plight-
under theocratic tyranny-

In Bangladesh.

As long as they are not Muslims and happen to be non-Muslims-

their answer seems to be like Cain’s-

“Am I my brother’s keeper”?

Here are the samples of the latest waft of the wind, from across the
border that separates the Dar-ul Islam of Bangladesh from the
blessed secular lands India, that couldn’t care less.

Hindu women abducted by Muslim at Batiaghata Upazila of

Khulna District of Bangladesh.

Abdul Aziz Goldar – Secretary of Upazila Awami League and

Ex U.P. Chairman of Batiaghata Upazila of Khulna district
abducted Ms. Bobita Rani Roy (20) Hindu women – wife of Dr.
Prakash Chandra Roy for conversion to Islam.

Dr. Prakash Chandra Roy holds a press conference on Friday

last said “The powerful leader of Awami League by deceitful
means who is not lawfully married to his wife with duress and
coercion has a sexual intercourse with her. I have several times
protested this illegal activities of Abdul Aziz Goldar, as a result I
have been threatened numerous occasions” He also informed
that police was informed several times for such unlawful
activities. Due to persistent pressure on 14th December, 2009
she fled away with Abdul Aziz with money and gold ornaments.
In this connection two general diaries made for protection of his
rights and recovery of his wife, but no recovery.
But, on Friday at about 9 a.m. Abdul Aziz Golder with some
hoodlums illegally entered into the house of Shankar Dutta and
attacked Dr. Prakash Chandra Roy injuring him severely and
started assaulting and threatened him to cut him into several
pieces in presence of hundred witnesses.

Legal Aspect: Section 493 of Bangladesh Penal code said

“Every man who by deceit causes any woman who is not
lawfully married to him to believe that she is lawfully married to
him and to cohabit or have sexual intercourse with him in that
belief, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description
for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be
liable to fine” Hindu marriage is a sacrament not a contract as
per law. So the conversion from Hindu religion from Islam with
