Short Film Analysis

This mid shot was taken of these young children in a learning environment with laptops out
in front of them. All the students in the shot have the same top on which indicated its a
uniform which shows this shot is taken in a classroom. The prop shown in the shot and the
costume immediately allows the audience to understand what genre this production is. The
background music of a piano playing sets the mood for the audience too.

This is another mid shot introducing the Principle of the school that the narrative of this
short documentary is based on. The location of the shit with the background theme and the

prop which are the chairs that are small in size makes them understand what the production
is based on. As a principle he does not come across as stereotypical as he seems quite
relaxed by his costume.

A wide shot is used to show the audience where the location is and clearly shows children
playing in the school playground. This is shown a representation of children been able to
educate themselves in a good school where they are able to experience the best.

A birds eye view to show a conversation between two people in regards to the childrens
education of how it can be improved and what facilities they are able to provide students
with.

A close up shot was used to show the prop that have been out into place for students that
dont have these facilities at home and to make there future brighter as what the
documentary is based on. The music continues to increase in the background to make the
audience understand the basses of the documentary what the narrative is about. The
principles says All classes should have prep laptops to help them with the education. This
shows the facilities the children have been introduced to.

Thus show is a medium shit that focuses on another teacher helping the students with the
laptop that they have been introduced too. This also shows that the student is provided
with good education through the teachers help too.
