TRAINING
LOG 2017
PSB 2017_SPSB training log template

INTRODUCTION
HEY SPSB!
This training log was created to provide SPSLs with the platform to take a step back and reflect on the event/activity
executed so they can grow as leaders, mentors and as people, supplemented by peer feedback.

How to use the SPSB Training Log:

1. Create a copy of the training log for yourself. Name your file according to this naming convention: PSB
2017_[ClassIC]_[Comm]_[Name] (e.g. PSB 2017_114_TnD_Anna Lee) and share it with your Buddy PSL and
your committee heads.
2. At the start of Term 1, fill in Section 1: Goal Setting. This will guide you through processes such as
setting goals for yourself and the potential obstacles etc. Please set SMART goals - not vague and
unfeasible ones, as they are goals that you will strive to achieve to better your experience in
PSB!! :) Your goals should be something that holds true throughout your PSB journey, so only repeat this
section when absolutely necessary!
3. Fill up the reflection templates within 3 days after every activity you complete (e.g. PSL session) so that
the memory of the initiative is fresh in your mind :) Copy and paste the templates for yourself if needed.
Please do think through and reflect on your experience as they are really valuable, and SPSLs will be reading
through as well!
4. At the end of each term, fill in Section 3: Self Reflections. SPSLs will also be commenting on your
performance, as well as what you can do to improve.
5. Steps 3-4 will be repeated when appropriate :D

Remember, this year should be more focused on mentoring your PSLs. Do remember that you MUST be fully
involved in the mentorship journey .

Also, feel free to approach any TnD S/PSL if you have any queries. All the best, and enjoy the process :D

Love,
