Apple Logic Organ Session

The Logic-version of Organ Session includes 50 EXS24 Sampler Instruments and 100
EVB3 Plug-In Settings and emulates the sound of a Hammond B3.
For Main Stage the best of the new Sampler Instruments and EVB3 Plug-In Settings were
combined to a Main Stage Concert including 80 Patches. As you see in the picture the
EXS24 Sampler Instruments including the sampled Hammond B3 Sounds appear like a new
Software Instrument.

Organ Session - Main Stage Concert

For building the EXS24 Sampler Instruments the drawbars of a Hammond B3 were sampled
chromatic. That means recording one sample for each note of each of the 9 drawbars for 5
octaves. A User waveform of one drawbar includes 61 samples. Additional there are several
chromatic sampled organ-percussion settings.
Beside multisamples of drawbars and organ-percussion there are also samples of some
popular B3 registrations like Full Organ, First Three, First Four, Even Bars or registrations
with C3 vibrato. Using multisamples of complete registrations are allowing complex
Hammond-Sounds with a limited number of voice elements. All sample recordings were
done without using amplifier, distortion and leslie. This allows flexible using of the Logic
effects and realistic switching between slow and fast leslie using the Rotor Cabinet effect.
Additional to the B3-samples you will find also some sampled registrations of the legendary
Hammond A100.
The sounds of Organ Session are offering wonderful punchy and smacky Hammond
Sounds with consisely key click and adjustable percussion, rockorgans with slightly or
strong distortion, traditional entertainer organs, classic drawbar-registrations and cool jazz-
organs.
All in all Organ Session offers the quality as well as the quantity of a compareable Plug-in
Board, Software-Instrument or high-quality Sample-CD.

Organ Session is very useful for Rock, Pop, Jazz, Funk, House, Entertainment or Ambient
music.

Some of the EXS24 Instruments are using Multi-Outputs. This allows to use the Mixer-Fader
of the Aux-Channels as virtual drawbars in Logic Pro 8.

Because the very flexible EVB3 has a different sound than the sampled B3 the product
includes also new EVB3 Plug-In settings.

About the Logic Pro 8 demo-version
The Logic Pro 8 demo version includes 2 Logic projects with 2 EXS24 Sampler
Instruments, Samples and several demo-sequences.
The used EXS24 Sampler Instruments are stored in the project as well as the related
samples. You dont have to install anything.

Additional there is 1 Main Stage Concert with 5 Patches based on the EXS24 Sampler
Instruments. For using them it is needed to copy the new Sampler Instruments to the
Library.
The EXS24 Sampler Instruments are available in the folder OrganSession_Demo /
Sampler Instruments / Organ Session.
Please copy or move the sub-folder Organ Session completely to this folder:
User... / Library / Application Support / Logic / Sampler Instruments (see picture)

Apple GarageBand Organ Session
The GarageBand Version includes 100 Software Instruments based on the Instrument-
Generator Tone Wheel Organ.

The Tone Wheel Organ is based on the soundengine of the Logic instruments EVB3. This
allows Hammond-organ sounds in highest quality, although the flexibility of EVB3 is surely
higher.

Organ Session is offering wonderful punchy and smacky Hammond Sounds with consisely
key click and adjustable percussion, rockorgans with slightly or strong distortion, traditional
entertainer organs, classic drawbar-registrations and cool jazz-organs.
Organ Session is very useful for Rock, Pop, Jazz, Funk, House, Entertainment or Ambient

About the GarageBand demo-version

The GarageBand demo version includes 3 GarageBand Songs with several demo-
sequences including the track-settings of 3 Software Instruments based on the Instrument-
Generator Tonewheel Organ.
You will find the organ settings after opening the details in the track-info. After opening the
Instrument-Generator you can edit the parameter of the Tonewheel-Organ.
