Your Challenge Should you choose to accept it, is to pick a team that will
undertake a complete takeover of the MagicalKenya social
media space

Your Mission To increase the awareness and consideration of Kenya as

the place where visitors can make memories through the
interaction with the various tourism products and her
people.

To tell the Kenya Story, a modern holiday destination

where people have the convenience of modern life but can
also connect with tourism products in a uniquely Kenya
way.

When Migration Season July to September 2016

Requirements In PDF format, Submit your quotation for the 3 Month

takeover that includes;

Team composition (profiles of the team members

(minimum 3), individual roles, reach and ability to
drive travel related conversations on social media)

Proposed content plan for the 3 month period that

helps meet the objective of the mission (a good mix
of Video, Images and Blogs Posts to help drive
TembeaKenya and encourage travel content
creation)
Clear breakdown of the utilization of Kshs 500,000
budget that will be provided for the takeover (to
include content acquisition costs, compensation for
the team, paid media supporting the campaign and
any other envisioned costs during the 3 month
period)

Evaluation Two teams will be picked for the Great Migration
Takeover. The successful teams will be given access to
manage KTBs social media assets during the duration of
the takeover.

Proposals will be evaluated as follows;

Team composition 30 Marks

Creativity in proposed content plan for the 3 month
takeover 40 Marks
Breakdown of proposed Budget - 30 Marks

In your proposal, please also state any support youd

require from Kenya Tourism Board to successfully
undertake this task.

CONDITIONS

1. The General Conditions of the Contract with the Government of Kenya apply to this
transaction. This form properly submitted constitutes the agreement to apply or
provide the services shown at the prices and within the delivery period stated
overleaf.

2. The offer shall remain firm for 30 days from the closing date unless otherwise
stipulated by the candidate.

3. The Procuring Entity shall not be bound to accept the lowest or any other offer, and
reserves the right to accept any offer in part unless the contrary is stipulated by the
candidates expenses, or may be collected by the owner.

4. Samples of offer when required will be provided free and before the closing date of
the quotation. If not destroyed during tests they will, upon request, be returned at
the candidates expenses, or may be collected by the owner.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. All entries must be typed or written in ink. Mistakes must not be erased but should
be crossed out and corrections made and initially by the persons signed the
quotation.

2. Quote for each item separately, and in units as specified.

3. This form must be signed by an authorised representative of the candidate and
preferably it should also be rubber-stamped.

4. Each quotation should be scanned and submitted separately to VIRTUAL TENDER

BOX tenders@ktb.go.ke with only the Quotation Number endorsed at the SUBJECT
LINE. Descriptive literature or samples of the items offered may be forwarded with
the quotation.

5. In line with Section 67 of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015,
KTB and its employee or agent of KTB or member of a board, commission or
committee of KTB shall not disclose the following:

(a) Information relating to a procurement whose disclosure would impede law

enforcement or whose disclosure would not be in the public interest
(b) Information relating to a procurement whose disclosure would prejudice
legitimate commercial interest, intellectual property rights or inhibit fair
competition
(c) Information relating to the evaluation, comparison or clarification of tender,
proposals or quotations,
(d) The contents of tender, proposals or quotations

For purposes of subsection (1) an employee or agent or member of a board,

commission or committee of KTB shall sign a confidentiality declaration form as
prescribed.

This section does not prevent the disclosure of information if any of the following
apply:-
(a) The disclosure is to an authorized employee or agent of the procuring entity or a
member of a board or committee of the procuring entity involved in the
procurement proceedings;
(b) The disclosure is for the purpose of law enforcement;
(c) The disclosure is for the purpose of a review under Part XV or requirements
under Part IV of the Act 2015
(d) The disclosure is pursuant to a court order; or
(e) The disclosure is made to the Authority or Review Board under the Act 2015.

Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (3), the disclosure to an applicant

seeking a review under Part XV shall constitute only the summary referred to in
section 67 (2)(d)(iii).

Any person who contravenes the provisions of this section commits an offence as
stipulated in section 177 (1)(f) and shall be debarred and prohibited to work for a
government entity or where the government holds shared, for a period of ten years.
