Meeting this month will be on Thursday, February
23rd - Rosary at 7:00 pm followed by refreshments
and the meeting at 7:30 pm at Our Lady of the

The Mon Valley Chapter Meeting will be held on
Tuesday, February 28th at Monessen Council Hall;
Refreshments 7:30 pm; Meeting 8:00 pm

The March for Life 2017
On January 22nd, Americans from every inch of this country
gathered in our nations capital for the historic 44th annual
March for Life, not only to commemorate that dark day when
Roe v Wade legalized abortion in our nation, but also to cele-
brate life and the countless lives saved throughout the years
since abortion was legalized. The March for Life is made up of
tens of thousands of people who have the capacity to be the
candle in a world that sometimes feels dark. This is the true
power of one every person has the power to be a light in this
often dark world. Weve been marching strong for 44 years,
and this year, more than ever, there is so much opportunity for
change. We will continue to march until a culture of life and
respect has been restored in the United States; a culture where
abortion is unthinkable and the inherent dignity of the human
person is respected from conception to death.

DID YOU KNOW?
Since the Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Initiative launched
Jan. 22, 2009 the 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade
hundreds of state and local councils have assisted qualified
pregnancy care centers (PCCs) to obtain ultrasound machines.
When a council raises half the cost of an ultrasound machine
which starts at roughly $20,000 the Supreme Council
matches that amount through the Orders Culture of Life Fund.
