REPORT ON KASHMIR SOLIDARITY

DAY
Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed in Law Department,
Lahore Leads University on Monday 6 th of February, 2017.
Participants of the event expressed their unwavering support to
the struggle of Kashmiris. Students formed human chain to
express solidarity with Kashmir. Dr. Abdul Majeed Cheema (Pro-
VC), Prof. Ashhad Ahmad (Adviser), Mr. Muhammad Younus
(HOD, Law Department), Mr. S. Tanweer Abbas Tabish (Director
Students Affairs) and Heads of various departments and faculty
members attended the event. Participants and keynote
speakers blamed UN and India for not implementing the UN
resolution to resolve the Kashmir issue. They said that
Kashmiris should be given their right of self-determination. In
the end, there was special prayer for the Martyrs of freedom
movement and liberation of Kashmir.
