IOT Training from Si2Chip:

Internet of things is one of emerging innovation in digital India program. Keeping the huge
expectation in field of IOT, NIELIT Gorakhpur conducted one week IOT workshop cum faculty
development program with Si2Chip Bangalore at NIELIT Gorakhpur campus from 23/11/2015 to
27/11/2015. During the workshop faculties have been trained with programming of internet enabled
embedded system (SoC) and data logging on cloud.

MoU between ITI Mankapur & NIELIT Gorakhpur

To provide industrial exposure/ internship in our M.Tech program in Electronic Product Design and
Technology, NIELIT Gorakhpur have taken a stepping stone by signing MoU with ITI Mankapur.
Our M.Tech students also obtained two R&D project from ITI Mankapur. One is Integration of Note
counting machine and Fake note detector machine and other is Energy efficient LED driver
design.

NBA Visit

Nation Board of Accreditation visit held at NIELIT Gorakhpur from 05/12/2015 to 06/12/2015
regarding the Assurance of Quality and Relevance of Education, especially of our M.Tech program in
Electronic Product design and technology. This visit also released new opportunity for NIELIT
Gorakhpur regarding empowerment of M.Tech program.

M.Tech Students project:

M.Tech student at NIELIT Gorakhpur have done a number of innovative project work in various field
of technology likewise IOT Grid, solar inverter, LED driver, Solar Charge controller, Collision
avoidance system, Air quality Indicator, Internet enabled smart home, Industrial environment
monitoring and many more, Android- bluetooth based smart home, Wireless sensor network based
sensor data logging.
