Data Analysis

This study hopes to identify the differences in Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus contents
in some varieties of bale plant. Table 1 shows the amount of Nitrogen, Potassium and
Phosphorus contents in studied bale samples

To compare the means in each category One-Way Anova was performed. To analyze the
difference among the studied sample Duncan post hoc test was performed. Tables 2 shows the
Anova output

Significant difference (P<0.05) observed among the studied samples with respect to
Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus contents. To analyze which variety/varieties differ from
each other with respect to Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus contents, the Duncan post hoc
test was performed. Table 3 shows the output of Duncan Post hoc test

It indicates variety paragammana temple and Polonaruwa accession differ significantly from
other varieties and stand alone. Mean difference between varieties Beheth and Misbillah and
varieties Misbillah and Rambukkaana is not significant.
