Behavioural Interview Questions

Candidate is expected to follow the following pattern when asked a behavioral


question:

1. Recount a specific event, activity, or SITUATION; and then to

Behavioral Questions

1. What are some of the things that you feel you have done particularly well?
2. Tell me about an accomplishment you are proud of?
3. Can you describe a time when you had to adjust quickly to changes over which you had
little control. How did the changes impact you?
4. Tell me about an experience you have had dealing with major change. How
did you maintain your effectiveness?
5. All of us have had situations where we werent able to complete everything
on time. Tell me about the last time this happened to you.
6. Can you think of a situation where you had to multi task? How did you
handle the situation?
7. Tell me about a time your communication skills were put to the test.
8. Tell me about a difficult or sensitive situation that required careful
communication?
9. What are some of your strategies for dealing with difficult people? Can you
describe a situation where these were tested?
10. Describe a situation where you had to make a difficult decision and explain
it to other people.
11. Tell me about a time when you took a risk
12. Describe a recent unpopular decision you made. What was the result?
