Summary Of The Ring:

Rachel Keller is a journalist who decides to go undercover

on the mysterious death of her niece and her three
friends, who seemed to all died on the same day at the
same time- 10:00 PM. After being told that her niece was
found in a closet with a horrifying look on her face, she
searches through her room and finds some pictures,
pictures of the cabin where her niece and her friends had
stayed a week before the deaths. Rachel finds the cabin
and finds an unknown video there. She decides to watch it
there, and now has only a limited time to live. She and her
divorced husband, Noah, research about the video and
find facts about Anna Morgan and her daughter, Samara
Morgan, the maker of this video. With only a week left,
Rachel and Noah discover the unknown secrets of the life
of Samara Morgan, and, hopefully for them, a way to
break the curse.

Why Did It Influence Us:

The ring influenced us because the plot of the ring is

quite similar to the film that we will be making and its
interesting because of how they use the antagonist in the
film to scare the audience for example when they had
various pop ups to make the audience jump out of the sit
this inspired us because of how the film the ring did
successfully itself and the rating sin the film were quite
high so this tells us that
hopefully our filming will
go well and could
potentially be as good as
the ring itself.

Summary Of The Conjuring:

In 1971, family man Roger Perron and his wife Carolyn move to an
old farmhouse in Rhode Island with their daughters Andrea, Nancy,
Christine, Cindy and April. The family finds a hidden basement
which the entrance is locked with planks. Soon they are haunted by
noises and ghosts and Carolyn meets the famous paranormal
investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren. They visit the house and
Lorraine and Ed feel that the house is possessed by a fiend. Their
further investigation shows that a witch has sacrificed her seven-
day baby to Satan and has possessed other mothers that lived in
the real estate to kill their children. Lorraine and Ed bring his friends
Drew and Brad to help them to collect evidences to convince the
Church that it is necessary an exorcism to save The Perron family
from evil.

Why Did It Influence Us:

This film influenced us because there antagonist was
similar to ours and exactly how we wanted because their
acting was perfect and it inspired us to do it like the
conjuring as it is a high rated film which is very popular
and the sound effects they used to bring in the antagonist
was intriguing because it gives the audience that kind of
scare factor to make the audience jump out of their seat.
