GCSO LAW ENFORCEMENT SUMMARY


FEBRUARY 6, 2017 FEBRUARY 12, 2017

On Monday, February 6, 2017, Deputy P. Baxley served Angela Love Garrett (42) with a
Violation of Probation arrest warrant at the Gulf County Detention Facility (GCDF).

On February 6, Stephanie R. Martin (42) surrendered herself at the GCDF. The Gulf County
Sheriffs Office (GCSO) held a warrant for her arrest for Grand Theft. Deputy M. Manley
responded to the GCDF and served the arrest warrant. Martin was turned over to the
GCDF.

On Tuesday, February 7, the GCSO received a possible sexual abuse on a child complaint.
The investigation has been assigned to the GCSO Criminal Investigations Division (CID).
Investigator L. Dickey continues to investigate.

On February 7, Deputy C. Harvey executed a transport order and transported Tatiana


Nicole Davis (20) from the Bay County Jail and delivered her to the GCDF. Gulf County
held a Violation of Probation warrant for her arrest. Deputy Harvey served the arrest
warrant on Davis at the GCDF.

On Wednesday, February 8, Investigators P. Williams and S. Ferrell arrested Robert James


Junior Williams (31) on Highway 22 in Wewahitchka. The GCSO held a warrant for his
arrest for Grand Theft. Williams was transported to the GCDF.

On Thursday, February 9, The Gulf County Public Works reported to the GCSO furniture
along with miscellaneous garbage had been dumped on Road 20 west of White City. Lt.
T. Wood continues to investigate.

On February 9, Sgt. J. Murnan was patrolling in the 2400 block of Cobia Avenue in Highland
View where he was flagged down by a citizen. The citizen reported their vehicle

registration decal had been stolen off their license plate. Sgt. Murnan continues to
investigate.

On Friday, February 10, the GCSO received a walk-in identity theft complaint at the
Wewahitchka sub-station. Deputy M. Peek responded to investigate the complaint. The
investigation revealed the complainant had numerous unauthorized charges on their
credit card. This investigation has been assigned to CID.

On Saturday, February 11, the GCSO received a theft complaint in the 200 block of Bay
Avenue in Wewahitchka. Deputy B. Smith responded to the complaint to investigate. The
complainant reported while moving from their residence to another residence they
discovered three firearms were missing. Deputy Smith continues to investigate.

On Sunday, February 12, the GCSO received a criminal mischief complaint in the 100 block
of State Road 71 in Wewahitchka. Deputy M. Peek responded to the complaint to conduct
an investigation. The complainant reported their recently painted store front window
paint was running. The complainant believes someone deliberately pour something on
the paint to ruin it. Deputy Peek continues to investigate.

On February 12, the GCSO received a 911 hang up from the 6000 block of Ganley Road in
the Dalkeith area. GCSO 911 Operator called back where a male answered and a female
could be heard yelling in the background. The caller then hung up a second time. Deputy
M. Peek responded to conduct an investigation. The investigation revealed Stephanie
Danielle Grimes (30) slapped her paramour and as a result the paramour defended
himself by striking Grimes. The investigation further revealed Grimes was the primary
aggressor and placed under arrest. Grimes was charged with Domestic Battery and
transported to the GCDF.
