2017 March MARC T-Shirt Show Program FINAL
1. Participants must be MARC members Limited Membership available ($20 for 3 MARC events until 28/2/18).
2. Neat Casual Attire plaiting optional.
3. Show Horse entrants cannot compete in Hunter classes.
4. Hunter entrants cannot compete in Show Horse classes.
5. (a) Stallions must be handled or ridden by people 18 years or over.
(b) Stallions must wear green identification disc at all times.
6. (a) Led Youngstock classes are for horses 3 years and younger (i.e. born on or after 1st August 2014).
(b) Led Youngstock may go in other Led Classes.
7. (a) Beginner classes are for entrants not yet ready to canter.
(b) Beginner classes do not count for End of Year Points Awards.
(c) Beginner classes are not eligible for Championships.
8. Novice/Open competitors are not allowed to participate in beginner classes.
9. MAIDEN riders / horses must not have won a first place at an Active Riders event or higher level.
10. NOVICE riders / horses must not have won a Championship at an Active Riders event or higher level.
11. Ponies may be ridden by a child or adult, but stallions must be ridden by an adult.
12. The organising committee has the right to combine classes if numbers are low.
13. The organising committee has the right to split classes if numbers are high.
14. The organising committee has the right to refuse entry or evict misbehaving horses and/or competitors from the
ring / event.
15. Supreme Champions will be judged in Ring 1 by both Judges.
16. The Judges decisions are final there will be no protests.
17. Approved safe boots must be worn.
18. APPROVED SAFETY STANDARDS FOR HELMETS: please ensure your helmet conforms to the approved safety
standards as of 1 January 2017, MARC will not be liable for any competitor that fails to wear the approved
helmet.
19. MARC Inc. will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury during the competition and competitors
compete at their own risk.
Horse Health Declaration forms should be handed in to Ring Stewards on the day before competing.
